1. Is it legal for me to build my own firearm?
In short, yes. If you can legally own a firearm, you can legally build a firearm as long as you do not transfer it. The ATF has more information on this subject.
2. Do I have to register a firearm I built for myself?
Federal registration is not required. State laws may require it. The ATF does recommend that you mark your firearm with your name, city and state. NOTE: Building a Short Barreled Rifle requires prior ATF approval and payment of a $200 Tax.
NOTE: We make every effort to abide by the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Please understand that we are not the BATF nor are we lawyers. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their application of these products fall within BATF guidelines and local state laws. We do not encourage anyone to perform illegal activities with these products. 1. Do you share your customer information with others?
No, we will not sell or share your information with anyone, unless required by law.
2. Is it safe to enter my credit card information?
Yes. We use a secure shopping cart program. Credit Card details are collected using a SSL secured server and processed manually. You will be billed within 24 hours prior to shipping.
1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Money Orders.
For security reasons, the billing address and ZIP code that you provide with your order must match the billing address and ZIP code registered to the card used for payment. Please contact your card issuer if you have questions about the Address Verification System (AVS).
2. Do you charge Sales Tax?
We collect Sales Tax on orders shipped to Indiana addresses.
3. How fast will I receive my order?
We generally ship within three business days of receiving an order. We ship via USPS Priority Mail for most orders, which includes insurance up to $100. Beyond this amount, you must manually select insurance if you wish to have it on your order. For small items ordered alone (rivets, springs, etc), we ship via USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class).
4. How much does shipping cost?
We calculate shipping costs based on weight, distance, and insurance value using the USPS Postage Rate Calculator. Handling is $2 per order placed. The shopping cart estimates shipping charges, but final calculations are made prior to billing. The minimum shipping charge is $4.00.
5. Do you provide Tracking Information?
For orders placed through our website, our system will email you a link to USPS tracking updates and info.
6. I prefer to have deliveries by a different carrier, like FedEx or UPS. Can you work with them?
We ship via USPS. If you are not able to have your order delivered by USPS, there will be a $15 handling charge for using a different carrier.
7. Can you ship this part to me outside the US?
For international orders, please contact Gibraltar Arms, who specializes in exporting our products worldwide. Please note, they cannot answer technical questions about our products.

2. This item doesn't seem to fit with my other parts. Can I exchange it?
In most cases there is no need to exchange a part. Call us and we'll help you make the tweaks and adjustments for parts to fit. Please note that our parts are designed to work with each other and with original parts. We cannot ensure our parts work with other vendors, or vice versa.
